Millions of dollars in capital improvements in the last two years have primied Snowshoe Mountain Resort’s Winter season, with lifts and trails set to open in late November, typically before Thanksgiving. A new high-speed detachable quad in 2006 lift adds to the already amazing capacity to move guests up the mountain at Snowshoe.
At full capacity, weather permitting, an area equal to five football fields can be covered with one foot of snow in an hour at Snowshoe Mountain Resort by the Mountain’s veteran snowmaking team.
Lodging options continue to grow nearly a mile atop Snowshoe Mountain, as well as fine and casual dining and loads of entertainment venues.
