35 years in 2006-07 as West Virginia's first commercial ski
area. It continues to focus on its successful role as a complete
(and casual) winter playland, adding attractions and services
to meet the needs of skiers and other long-time fans of this well-rounded
and very natural recreational resort.

Canaan
Valley appeals to skiers of every level with a great instructional
program, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, a year-round pool,
tubing, an ice rink, evening activities, and children's programs.

Canaan Valley Resort guests return every year to enjoy the activities

Winterplace
Ski Resort -- Winterplace is a winter wonderland
for skiers in search of a full-service and all-inclusive ski resort
for every member of the family. Guests can ski Winterplace and
enjoy first class lodging at Winterplace’s sister resort
Glade Springs and Slopeside Condos or stay at a number of fine
lodging facilities that can be booked through Winterplace’s
Central Reservation Service. This year brings even more snowmaking
and snowtubing to one of the most convenient resorts in the southeast,

Oglebay
Resort -- The ski area at Oglebay Resort and Conference
Center has been upgraded and now features an 815 ft. slope with
a 168 ft. vertical drop, a new triple chair lift and extensive
snowmaking equipment. Improvements have also been made to the
ski area's building to make the facility ADA (Americans with Disabilities
Act) compliant.

Whitegrass Touring Center -- Whitegrass is
one of the country's most unusual and certainly the Mid-Atlantic's
most treasured cross-country touring centers. They've been around
as since 1979 and take pride in their wholesome natural foods,
unique, laid-back atmosphere, curvy exciting trails and backcountry
and ski specialty shop. The day lodge provides nice access to
some of West Virginia's most treasured high country. The area
is home to the country's 500th National Wildlife Refuge and features:
